FDU’s Fairleigh Institute for Lifelong Learning (FILL) seeks to enrich the intellectual lives of those 60 and older through intergenerational collaboration, learning, and teaching. Enrolling in FILL entitles participants to audit a university course taught by FDU faculty, take non-credit courses in diverse topics taught by members of FILL and others, use FDU’s recreational facilities, and interact with like-minded seniors. We are committed to enhancing the university community and giving FILL members opportunities to share their intellectual and social capital with different generations, and tap the diverse academic, cultural, and social opportunities available in our area.
FILL Mission Statement
The Fairleigh Dickinson University Metropolitan campus sits just a few miles from New York City. Bisected by the Hackensack River, it sits within the towns of Teaneck and Hackensack. The campus is home to many of FDU's business, professional, science and healthcare programs. The campus is also diverse, enrolling students from 63 countries.
