What Is FILL?

FILL-Metro offers educational classes and programs for adult learners, typically those aged 60 and older, to engage in the academic and cultural community of the University. Participants in the program can audit University classes, participate in special Fairleigh Institute for Lifelong Learning (FILL) courses taught by fellow senior volunteers, and enjoy a full array of on-campus facilities such as the gym, cafeteria, and library. Participants are also able to attend special lectures and cultural events, theatrical performances and musicals, athletic events, and many others.

Metro Campus Fitness Center

The Recreation Center is located on the Teaneck side of campus. It offers a wide range of facilities, including a basketball/volleyball/badminton court, a group exercise studio, a cardio machine room, weight rooms, a lounge, and a pool. The center also includes a prayer/meditation room, and locker rooms with showers.

Giovatto Library at Metro

The Metro Library is located on the Teaneck side of campus. Its collections contain approximately 154,000 volumes and 1,320 DVDs, along with 430 periodical titles.Materials include DVDs, audiobooks on CD, microforms, as well as books and periodicals. The FDU Online Library provides access to 190+ subscription databases with 20,000 full-text journals, more than 145,000 e-books, and a streaming video collection. Resources with in the Online Library are available 24/7.
